Jimmy started kicking in Roseville, then Plumas Lake. Annette followed—Roseville, Plumas Lake, Woodland. Same dirt, same ball, different scars.

Now we’re coaches. Metro. Competitive. Rec. Board seats in Roseville and Yuba Sutter. And yeah—we still yell “pass!” at each other. But mostly? We yell “great job!” at kids who just nailed their first trap.
